Designer J.C.Karich thought about both these issues as he developed prototypes for his flat-pack cutlery. With is salad servers, dessert spoons and other cutlery, Karich reminds us of the innate beauty of plastic and creates a design that we simply can't throw away, but lovingly keep for another day.
